As we all know you must have Motor Carrier Insurance on your Tractor & Trailer. And you must have Load Insurance. The Last I heard, You were supposed to have $1,000,000 worth of coverage on your Rig. Mainly so that the American Lawyers can sue the Truckers and Trucking Companies.

And so that all the No Driving Idiots on the road can hit a big truck on purpose and then hit the mother load, Simply by filing a lawsuit against the trucking company even though 95% of ALL Truck Accidents are caused by the 4 wheelers! (And 80% of all four wheelers are under the influence of some sort of drug whether the drugs are legal or illegal!?) I think we ALL know who the biggest drug pusher on earth is!(Uncle Sam) Simply filing a lawsuit against the trucking company, Will cause the trucking companies to settle out of court, Even though the Truck Driver may be completely innocent of any wrong doing. Why? Because it cost too much money to fight it. And this destroys the Drivers Career,Driving Record,And most of all his Employment Record.

One time, I was driving in Houston and I had a helper with me when this guy right out of the blue flags me down, And pulls me over and tries to tell me that I had hit his vehicle. Well thankfully, My helper just happen to notice that the guy was saying, I hit him on a side of his vehicle that was never even near my truck. Well, The guy just ran back to his vehicle, And took off! I never heard from him again to bad I didn't have a chance to get his license plate number. But what really got me was the fact that, I saw the very same guy in the very same vehicle, The very next day on the side of the interstate with another big truck! I turned that Truck around so I could go talk to the Officer but by the time I got back to where they were it was to late, they had already left so I know that driver probably got fired and sued.

Now I have never had an accident but if I had not had that helper with me that day, I would have lost my job. If I fell for this loser's scam, The accident on my record would have been a flat out lie, And I and the company would have had to just settled out of court.

This same scam is played out over and over day & night 24/7/365. And we all know the authorities care, LOL!!!!!!! I suppose we should expect this, In a country that's run by Lawyers, Who are put in office by 250,000,000 people. Who are not directly connected in any way to the trucking industry.(I am assuming that 50,000,000 people are directly connected.) Personally, I would be more than happy to shut down my truck for 2 weeks! (Along with EVERY other rig!) I bet that would get someone's attention but unfortunately, We will NEVER stand up for ourselves much less each other!

So the only light I see at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train (Uncle Sam), Who will gladly force us to pay more for everything, But wouldn't dare lift a finger to stop this fraud from happening. I guess I said all that to say this. Even if you just sit behind the steering wheel of a big truck with no insurance, "Then you're just asking for trouble!"
