Interstate 10 Is only about 75 miles from state line to state line in Mississippi. It's a Southeastern Freeway, Which means it's tree lined and boring. I 10 has a seven mile bridge over the Pascagoula River, That gives a reprieve from the constant line of pine trees.

I 10 East & West bound Mississippi Scales coming out of Alabama are at mm 74 & mm 75.There is a TA Truck Stop at exit 4 in Alabama, East of the scale. There is a Cone Truck Stop at exit 69 West of the Truck Scale and then there is a Flying J Truck Stop and a Loves Truck Stop at exit 31, Just West of the Pascagoula weigh station.
Right before you enter into Louisiana, You will have to cross the "Bay Saint Louis" Scales on I 10 East & West bound Mississippi Scales are just inside the border from Louisiana within the first mm.There is a Rest Area at exit 2 after the scales.These Scales Are Usually Open.
Construction is still ongoing, To complete a six lane highway from exit 28 to Interstate I 10. Widening will continue Eastward to exit 57 in the near future. The widening is addressing some of the issues, But the freeway sees a good amount of traffic, For its remaining four lanes.
On Interstate 10 the sign panels and some road signs Do Not reflect well, During the Humid Nights of the Gulf Coast, and Condensation often obscures the signs on moist nights so be careful Trucking throughout this area. LOW BEAMS DRIVERS!!
