Ever need a change of pace? Louisiana Truck Stops on Interstate 10. We have eaten some really good Mexican food in California and Arizona, ate some really hot chili peppers in New Mexico, we have eaten lots of Barbecue and TexMex in Texas and had some of the best fish in the world in Alabama & Florida but the best food that we have ever had is definitely in Louisiana! Interstate 10 through Louisiana is One Beat Up and Bumpy Highway, That makes you feel like you're in a boat in the Gulf of Mexico up and down, Up and down, Up and down Ugh! Almost makes you seasick just thinking about! The state of Louisiana absolutely has without any question in our minds, The very best groceries we have ever been lucky enough to devour. Some of the best food that we have ever consumed anywhere has been "Believe it or Not" at several different Louisiana Truck Stops on I10!

Everything from Red Beans & Rice, Mudbugs (crawdads), Jumbalaya, Boudain & Chittlings. All that Cajun & Creole food has got to be the very best food on earth! As far as we can tell. Don't believe us? Just stop at any hole in the wall Louisiana Truck Stop that has it's own restaurant and not the big truck stops with their chain restaurants and order a small helping of any thing we have mentioned and for us especially Red Beans & Rice.

And we expect that you will not be able to leave there, Until you have stuffed yourself plum full of the food that the rich white folks used to think was so nasty that only the poor folks of any race should be forced to eat,LOL. Well, All we can say about that is BRING IT ON!

One other thing if you ever happen to be going by Breaux Bridge,La., When they are having their Crawfish Festival and you have some time to spare,(Preferably all night, Stop at The Pilot and eat & drink yourself to sleep,lol). We know some Snotty folks just cannot bring themselves to eat such awful stuff, Which is fine( More for us to eat!)with us. They can go ahead and eat at their expensive restaurants, Eat their over-priced groceries, And leave the cheap Louisiana Truck Stop Cafe Food for ALL of us "Rejects" to deal with and consume with sheer pleasure!
