I 10 crosses from Mississippi and goes thru Mobile County in Alabama. In Mobile, the highway is the Southern end of I 65. In Mobile, I 10 goes thru a tunnel the "George C. Wallace Tunnel" under the Mobile River. The Eastbound approach is actually the Western side of the Mobile Bay and it is posted at 40 MPH because of the sharp curve approaching it. The highway then crosses about 8 miles of Mobile Bay on a bridge called the "Bayway". On the Eastern side of the Mobile Bay, the highway goes thru Baldwin County before crossing the Perdido River and on into Florida. Governor: Bob Riley We love going thru Alabama On I 10, Because Nobody Messes with You as long as You don't get Stupid, You really should be able to Enjoy the Trip.
